Praying with Trust

God, I trust You with the treasure of my heart. All of the things that I hold dearly, all of the people I love greatly, all of the possessions and positions for which I’ve fought and prayed and worked – I give them to You. I trust You with my family, my future, and my heart. I will submit my life to Your timeline and design. You are faithful and merciful and good. Your promises are true, and You are worthy to be trusted.

Jeremiah 17:7–8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Matthew 6:19–21 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
