God, forgive me for my faults and failures. I am sorry for when I have sinned against You or my fellow man. As I search my heart, God, reveal to me the wrongs that I have committed. Let me not defend, justify, or explain my behavior when I feel conviction. Instead, God, I want to confess my wrong-doings and ask for Your forgiveness, for I know you are merciful, and when You forgive my sins, You remember them no more.
