Praying with Focus

God, today we pray for those who have strayed from Your Truth. We pray that You would draw them back to You and remind them of Your goodness and mercy. Convict them when they are misguided and confused. Mercifully lead them back to the safety of Your arms. Mend the relationships that have been broken and redeem the time that has been lost. We know that You are able to restore and deliver from any situation, no matter how bleak it may seem to us. Help us to be kind and compassionate, not judgmental or unmerciful. As prodigals find their way back to You, help us to welcome them with love.

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Luke 15:20 "So, he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him."
