SCRIPTURE: Eph. 4:11-16; emphasis on vv.11-13 (NLT) - " 11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

What is your spiritual gift?  Unfortunately, so many of us do not know what it is exactly?  And, because we don't know, we'll compensate with our human understanding, pick an area where we may be physically or mentally talented, and assume that's it without ever asking our Creator specifically what gift He spiritually gave us in order to live/look like Christ to our neighbor, co-workers, fellow students, any where we are currently placed.  Think of an old-school flashlight (non-LED) and how they used to disperse light; scattered over an area, almost like a cone of light.  Now, contrast that with a laser and how it emits light; in a line, straight-forward and dependent on its source, can cut through metal.  Do you want to be a flashlight or laser-focused Christian, knowing exactly what gift Christ has given you?  It starts by looking at resources like this one ( God Has BIG Plans for You | Take The Real You Free Assessment ) and allowing Him to develop You over time (Heb. 12:4-11).
