SCRIPTURE: James 1:27 (VOICE) - " Real, true religion from God the Father’s perspective is about caring for the orphans and widows who suffer needlessly and resisting the evil influence of the world.

PRAYER FOCUS: Godly families to respond in compassion to God speaking to them about the possibility of mentoring, adoption, and fostering children.
 Do you believe that you have the answer, or hope, that everyone else is longing for?  Heb. 6:18-20 (MSG), "We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as High Priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek."  Non-believers are always looking for and asking, "Is there more?"  As Christians, our answer should be "Yes, and our hope is a reliable anchor!"  Let us pray, "Jesus, You are the greatest gift that we could ever give to anyone who we see that needs you; especially those in our neighborhood who need mentored, fostered or even adopted.  Help us to see others, especially children, the way that You do so that we can give them the anchor of hope in Christ in the way You would want for us to.  Help us not to harden our hearts to Your will.
