Our Beliefs
Free Life Community Church is a friendly and loving evangelical Christian Church of faith, that is a Bible-believing, Spirit-led, Christ-centered Community. Our vision is to help people transform their Spiritual Journey to reach their God-potential through: Fervent Prayer, Relevant Teaching, Servant Leadership & Deep Friendships. We are a Community Church that is part of the Wesleyan Denomination; which is based on the theology of John Wesley, who was the founder of the evangelical movement.
We believe in Jesus Christ as our Personal Savior, and desire to connect people to Him so that they can realize their full-potential in life.
We believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in him alone for eternal life.
We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit.
We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct.
We believe God wills for people everywhere to know him and be made new in Christ.
We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness and loving deeds.
These terms describe the “soul of the Church”: Biblical authority, Christlikeness, Disciple Making, Local Church-Centered, Servant Leadership.
Marriage and the Family
We believe that every person is created in the image of God and that human sexuality
reflects that image in terms of intimate love, communication, fellowship, subordination of
the self to the larger whole, and fulfillment. The Bible uses the marriage relationship as
the supreme metaphor for His relationship with His covenant people, one God with one
people. God’s intends for human sexuality to be expressed only in a monogamous
lifelong relationship between one man and one woman within the framework of marriage.
This is the only relationship which is divinely designed for the birth and rearing of
children and is a covenant union made in the sight of God, taking priority over every
other human relationship.
